Whatever Brings You Happiness
The work Whatever Brings You Happiness is a diesel-free ATB Man Lion's City bus transformed into a mobile installation. The vehicle a hot shade of pink all over, a colour much loved by designer Peter Fink, who in 2014 transformed Bergamo's Piazza Vecchia with this shade of fuchsia for the Maestri del Paesaggio event. The two sides of the bus are decorated with the geometric motifs that are also seen on the Christmas Design logo. The bus, which will continue to function in this artistic version, will move around the streets of Bergamo in service on all the different urban lines by rotation. It will bring many smiles of joy to passers-by, and not only for its vibrant colours: the rear of the bus ironically shows the infectious smile of Fink himself as he pays homage to Yayoi Kusama. ATB (Azienda Trasporti Bergamo - Bergamo's Public Transport Corporation)
ATB has made Bergamo a city "within reach". Tens of thousands of travelers get on its vehicles every day and thanks to an increasingly diesel-free fleet the city is also greener. ATB manages urban public transport in the capital city of the province and in 29 neighboring municipalities. Founded in 1907 and structured into various companies led by ATB Mobilità Spa, the company has established itself as a point of reference in the collective transport system of people and in integrated mobility systems.

Peter Fink was born in London and has worked for over 40 years as a designer, artist and creative director around the world. An eclectic landscape architect, he has consolidated his interests by establishing himself on the international scene through a series of award-winning projects that combine art, urban planning, landscape and ecology.
